New Trails
There is something for everyone to enjoy at this woodland site and now, for the first time, you can have access to two new areas - Randall Wood and Brewers Wood. The four trails at the site provide access for all, so make sure you try them:
- Easy Access Trail – This 3.5 kilometres trail passes through woodland, beside lakes and grassy glades. It is suitable for pushchairs and people with disabilities
- Heritage Trail – This trail passes a ruined Manor House, Bronze Age barrow and RAF Camp
- Explorer Trail – This trail follows challenging terrain and takes in the site’s best wild flowers, fungi and wetland areas
- Darnley Trail – This trail takes visitors out of the country park and can be enjoyed by walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers over 9.8 kilometres.
Please note that there is an ongoing programme of public events at Shorne Woods Country Park. |
