Employing over 450 people, Moat provides excellent customer service to residents in their 20,000 affordable shared ownership and rented homes. Keen to secure a central office to accommodate its progressive development, Moat moved to Mariner House at Crossways in Dartford in 2006. This strategic decision positioned Moat in the heart of the Thames Gateway, a key growth area. Its Dartford location allows easier access for customers and staff between regional offices in other parts of Kent, Sussex, Essex and London.

Not only is the Dartford premises in an ideal location, it is environmentally friendly. Energy and water consumption is minimised through energy efficient practices at all Moat’s offices, including Mariner House at Crossways. As a provider of affordable homes and sustainable communities, Moat is involved in a number of high profile schemes across all areas of Kent Thameside, including a major regeneration project at Christian Fields, in Gravesend. Within Dartford itself Moat is providing affordable homes at schemes such as Waterstone Park and The Bridge.
