City Electrical Factors Ltd was established in 1951 and is the fastest growing electrical wholesaler in the UK with over 400 branches.

The group, which offers over 17,000 products, employs 4,700 people not only throughout the United Kingdom but also in Europe, North America, the Middle East and now Australia and New Zealand. After 20 years of trading from their original premises in Gravesend, they expanded their operation and moved to new headquarters in Greenhithe, Kent.

Committed to their long-standing staff and customers, City Electrical Factors were keen to remain within the Kent Thameside area and to move to larger premises that could combine warehouse, office and showroom facilities, to a location offering enhanced added-value service to both new and existing customers.The Dartford-based company prides itself on its fully trained local sales, technical and service staff. The expansion also created new jobs for local people. This new, centrally located facility opened in September, 2007.
