The North Kent line links Gravesend, Northfleet, Swanscombe, Greenhithe, Stone Crossing and Dartford stations to London Charing Cross, Medway and the Channel ports. Journey time from Gravesend to London Charing Cross is 42 minutes. St Pancras will be 24 minutes from Gravesend when the new High-Speed services linked to Ebbsfleet International commence in December 2009.
Already Kent Thameside commuters can access Dartford, Greenhithe and Gravesend stations via Fastrack rapid transit network.
