A fantastic new multi-sports park is coming soon to Gravesham. World class facilities and community space will nestle within 43 hectares of parkland.

Cyclopark

On 23 January 2010 Olympic gold medal winning cyclist Jamie Staff launched the Cyclopark in his role as sports champion for the project:

"As soon as I heard about this project I was keen to be involved. I'm passionate about getting people active and Cyclopark is going to give everyone in the local area an ideal location to do this."

Cyclopark will boast the following facilities:

Cycle tracks
BMX race track
Mountain bike circuit
Skateboard park
Children's cycle play area
Multi-use games area
Pavilion

In summer 2010, Cyclopark exhibited at BikeRadar Live 2010, the Kent County Show and at Gravesham's Big Day Out, providing Kent Thameside residents with a flavour of what is to come in visual displays of design plans and information about the exciting project.

Construction will begin on the first phase of construction later in 2010. Future phases will be completed by spring 2012, subject to funding.
