Fast access. Within an hour's drive of Central London and a few miles from the M25, it is surrounded by attractive country villages. Southeastern's high speed services commence in 2009, reducing the travel time to the capital to just 22 minutes.

New Developments. Improvement plans include substantial redevelopment and enhancement of the Heritage Quarter, with over 650 new apartments at Canal Basin, more and better shops, restaurants, offices, a hotel, and community facilities.

Rich heritage. Gravesend has a successful, multi-cultural town centre and is working hard to integrate new and existing communities to improve quality of life.
