Located on the heights overlooking Bluewater shopping centre, Waterstone Park was designed with sustainability in mind. It can be reached from the A226 near Stone; adjacent to restored gardens at historic Stone Castle.

Waterstone Park is a joint venture between Land Securities and Countryside Properties. The first phase is fully sold and sales are now underway for the second phase of 450 homes, with completion scheduled for 2010.

Waterstone Park recently received the Building for Life Silver Standard Award for design excellence from CABE:

  • In all 650 homes are planned. A mix of houses, and apartments (30% affordable properties)
  • Paths and cycleways will link 7 acres of park, woodland, open space, and 3 play areas
  • All homes are measured against the Code for Sustainable homes for water and energy efficiency, and waste management
  • Fusion, the latest phase of the development, unites previous phases at Watersone Park to create a development of harmony and contrast
  • Fusion houses feature open plan living areas with fireplace, and many have integrated conservatories, balconies or terraces
  • Fusion apartments feature open plan layouts, contemporary design and balconies or terraces. Some have private entrances and garages.
